Seth Tinsley, a Knoxville native, received his Bachelor’s in vocal performance from Maryville College and his Master’s in vocal performance from Belmont University, where he served as the Nashville Opera fellow during his tenure at Belmont. Seth has worked as a soloist and music/theater teacher in the area and in Nashville. He currently resides as the choral and musical theater director at his alma mater, Karns High School, and has been involved as a vocalist in multiple professional and community ensembles including the Knoxville Handel Society, Symphony of Voices, Tartan Soul, and the Knoxville Opera. Seth is thrilled to join the Appalachian Community Chorus as their assistant director and looks forward to being a part of such an inclusive and growing community.
