Chris is a native of East Tennessee. He received an A.S. in Music Education from Walters State Community College, and many, many years later received a B.S. in Speech & Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University. After college, he spent a decade living and working in New York City, where he served as Production Manager for 4 Off-Broadway shows, was the Facilities and Technical Manager for the Peoples Improv Theatre, and made it to the NYC finals for the World Karaoke Championship. Since moving back to East Tennessee, he has had the honor of being a conductor on the Dollywood Express steam train at Dollywood, serving as the Joshua/Apple Jack swing for Dolly Parton’s Christmas Celebration, and just completed a 3 season stint as the Mayor/ Pa swing at Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud. Chris is delighted to have the opportunity to be involved in the next steps of growth for this amazing organization.
